The Contiglas is a special machine. This machine looks like the Conti cover shrink, however here the cover and shrinking frame are two separate mechanisms. The cover frame is designed as such that the cover is held tight below after being pulled over, while the shrinking frame can shrink the cover separately from the top. Thus preventing the appearance of the so-called "banana shaping" under the cover. In other words, the cover does not pull up during the shrinking process. Apart from the special cover and shrinking frame design, a modified roller conveyor is required (see illustration). The cover is pulled in so far under the pallet allowing it to be tightly and securely fastened.
A: The pallet load is placed on the conveyor
B: The supports lift up
C: The conveyor is lowered
